2. Placing an Order
When you place an order, you will receive an order confirmation email.
Orders are processed quickly to ensure fast dispatch. Because of this:
● Orders cannot be amended once placed.
● Orders may be cancelled before dispatch if we receive your email in time.
● Once shipped, orders cannot be cancelled.
We reserve the right to cancel orders where payment issues, fraud concerns or stock errors arise.
3. Pricing & Payment
● All prices are in Euro and include VAT where applicable.
● Payment is taken at checkout via secure, PCI-compliant providers.
● Prices may change before order confirmation.
4. Promotions & Discount Codes
Discount codes must be entered at checkout and cannot be added afterwards.
Unless stated otherwise, discount codes do not apply to:
● Personalised or engraved products
● Gift cards
● Fixed-price bundles
● Exclusive collections
● Sale items
Promotions may be withdrawn or amended at any time.
5. Delivery
Delivery timeframes are estimates and may vary during busy periods.
Risk in your goods passes to you once you, or someone nominated by you, receives the parcel.
We are not responsible for delays caused by couriers, customs or incorrect address details provided at checkout.
6. Your Right to Change Your Mind (Online
Orders)
If you purchase online, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it.
You then have a further 14 days to return the item to us.
To be eligible for return, items must be:
● Unworn
● In original condition
● In original packaging
Refunds are processed within 14 days of receiving returned goods. Return postage costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty or incorrect
Exceptions to Cancellation Rights
The right to change your mind does not apply to:
● Personalised or engraved items
● Products made to your specifications
● Earrings where hygiene seals have been removed
Please double-check engraving details before confirming your order.
7. Faulty Items
If your item is faulty, not as described, or not fit for purpose, please contact us.
You are entitled to remedies under Irish consumer law, including repair, replacement or refund where applicable.
Your statutory rights are not affected by anything in these Terms.
8. Warranty
We offer a three-month commercial warranty covering manufacturing defects.
This does not cover:
● Normal wear and tear
● Plating wear
● Oxidisation
● Water damage (unless specified water resistant)
● Accidental damage or misuse
This warranty is in addition to your legal rights.
9. Materials & Skin Sensitivity
Our jewellery may include materials such as stainless steel, copper, zinc alloy, nickel or brass components.
If you have metal sensitivities, please review product details carefully before purchasing.
Individual skin chemistry can affect how jewellery wears over time.
10. Engraving & Personalised Jewellery
We engrave exactly what is submitted.
We cannot edit, enhance or alter uploaded files.
The final engraving quality depends on the quality of the file provided.
Personalised and engraved items cannot be returned unless faulty.
Fingerprint submissions are processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
11. Permanent Jewellery (Welding Service)
A booking deposit is required to secure your appointment.
● Deposits are non-refundable but may be rescheduled.
● Permanent jewellery may loosen or break with wear.
● Rewelding within 3 months is complimentary.
● Lost chains are not refundable.
Permanent jewellery is a cosmetic service. Please ensure it is suitable for you before booking.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for personal injury caused by negligence.
12. Intellectual Property
All website content, designs, logos and product imagery remain the property of Lynott Jewellery Ltd and may not be reproduced without permission.
13. Events Beyond Our Control
We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, including courier disruption, natural events or governmental restrictions.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland.
Consumers may bring legal proceedings in Ireland or in their country of residence where
required by law.
